It's worth noting that while Li-ion and LiFePO4 batteries are rechargeable, they are not typically available as primary (non-rechargeable) AAA lithium batteries. Primary lithium AAA batteries are typically based on other chemistries, such as lithium iron disulfide (LiFeS2) or lithium manganese dioxide (LiMnO2). These primary lithium batteries offer long shelf life and high energy density but are not rechargeable and need to be disposed of properly after use.
