Storing LiPo (Lithium Polymer) batteries correctly is crucial for safety and longevity. Here are some guidelines on where and how to store LiPo batteries:
1. Temperature:
Cool Environment: Store LiPo batteries in a cool, dry place, ideally at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F). Avoid storing them in places that can get very hot (like inside a car) or very cold (like an unheated garage in winter).
2. Humidity:
Low Humidity: Keep the storage area dry to prevent moisture from affecting the batteries. Humidity levels should be kept low to avoid any risk of corrosion.
3. Partial Charge:
Storage Charge Level: Store LiPo batteries at around 50% - 60% charge (approximately 3.7V to 3.85V per cell). Storing them fully charged or completely discharged can shorten their lifespan.
